Bespoke Timber Products from our Joinery Workshop
At the headquarters of JAS Timber here in Blackburn, we have a dedicated, modern joinery workshop kitted out with all of the equipment our team needs to manufacture quality made-to-measure timber joinery products.
Our timber joinery workshop turns out a wide range of products, such as gates, porch canopies, radiator cabinets and door/window frames, casings and linings. Bespoke stairs and staircase components are a JAS Timber speciality and our collection includes alternator stairs, kite winders and closed tread stairs in softwood.
Following is a selection of pine beadings and mouldings made in our very own joinery workshop. Most of these are available from stock but some may have to be machined to order.
Pine reed mould is extremely versatile and is ideal for use as a dado/chair rail, a panel mould or a door architrave. Each mould is expertly machined from PEFC or FSC Unsorted Scandinavian Redwood, which has very few knots.
Available in a selection of sizes, our square corner beads are made using mill-machined PSE Scandinavian Redwood. These components are perfect for use as an external corner cover mould.
Though primarily intended for use around door panels to give a raised moulding effect, bolection mould can also be used as picture rails, cable covers or as an edge trim to cover the raised edges of cladding, tiles or board.
Our excellent selection of wall pattresses, many of which feature Ovolo moulding, can be made to a bespoke size in a range of shapes including square, circular, hexagonal and octagonal. These components are generally used for mounting metal brackets to fix stair handrails to walls but can also be used as roses for light fittings and switches. Choose from Scandinavian softwood, MDF, white oak or Sapele hardwood.
