Alternator 13 Rise Spacesaver Staircase : Open-Tread Oak -

The price shown is a guideline for 12 Rise Alternator Stairs up to 36" wide; Extra charges would apply for child-bars, closed-treads, fitting newels etc. and also for carriage.

We make these in our own workshop, and can manufacture staircases to your measu­rements, with newel-posts, bull-nose steps, kite-winders, and closed treads, if required.
They can be made in a choice of timbers including Ash, Sapele ( Dark Hardwood ) and Softwood ( Pine ).

Alternator Stairs Domestic Specifi­cation -
ex 9x1.5 Planed American White-Oak Strings;
ex 11x1.5 Planed American White Oak Treads,
Strings are trenched, sanded, glued for Treads, then clamped and screwed, for minimum movement in the finished Alternator Staircase.
All our stairs are glued with an exterior-grade PVA Adhesive.

Poa - for Child-Bars using Oak Dowel, or Polished Chrome-Tube;
