| 2x2 Softwood HANDRAIL : MOPSTICK Round-Handrail Machined from 50x50mm PEFC Scandinavian Redwood timber; Finished size 44mm diameter with a small flat 16mm surface for fitting onto metal handrail brackets; We now have this machined in Joinery Grade timber - Swedish redwood timber; This softwood handrail is not treated in any way, and would need a preservative treatment if it were to be used outside. Our Mopstick Timber Handrail is stocked mainly in 4.2 metre lengths, but would have to be cut for carrier delivery; Mopstick Timber Handrail available in 0.9, 1.2, 1.5, 1.8, 2.1, 2.4 & 4.2 metre lengths. - PEFC SCANDINAVIAN PINE TIMBER IN STOCK - 05/03/2012 - See other Handrails -> TIMBER HANDRAILS Redwood Timber is a natural product - variations in knots, colour and grain should be expected. Planed timber mouldings should be treated and fixed in place as soon as possible, to help minimise any movement, or twisting and surface checking, or splitting that can occur naturally in timber, with changes in moisture content. Sizes are the usual timber nominal size that the 50mm Mopstick Handrail timber moulding is machined from, with a finished size that is generally obtained; (Be aware: For a multitude of reasons, size and profile of timber may vary from batch to batch, so it is best to purchase all you need for a job in one go, rather than buying more at a later date. If it is important, then you need to check these sizes and profiles before commencing work. We cannot be held responsible for any variations in machined timber sizes or pattern.) Price is generally per running metre or per length - we can price larger quantities and pack lots per cubic metre.
