| 9x3 R/S Carcassing Timber (75x225mm Nominal) Graded - SSC16 Finished size: 8-7/8" x 2-3/4" (73x223mm) : European whitewood. - Up to 4.8 metres; This 225x75 timber is a very high quality European whitewood, some now being regularised - ie planed with eased corners, kiln-dried and graded to SSC16 or SSC24 certification, so suitable as joists, rafters and building timber, and is generally Grade-Stamped for inspection by your Building Inspector. Normal lengths of 3x9 joists are 3.0, 3.6, 4.2 & 4.8 metres; 5.4 & 6.0 metres of 75x225mm timber purlins are normally available from stock in a Graded German whitewood; We can also source larger sizes and lengths to order - poa. We keep tilt-fillet in stock and can cut firring pieces and other timber sections to size for flat-roof or pitch-roofing work. Timber is a natural product - variations in knots, colour, grain and surface-checking should be expected. Sizes are the usual timber nominal size that the Buildng Timber is machined from, with a finished size that is generally obtained; (Be aware: For a multitude of reasons, size and profile of timber may vary from batch to batch, so it is best to purchase all you need for a job in one go, rather than buying more at a later date. If any graded timber is cut, then this may affect the timber-joist grade rating, and may cut off the timber grade-stamp; If Size, Pattern or Grading of the Timber Joist is important, then you need to check this with your Building Inspector before ordering the timber with us, and before commencing work. We cannot be held responsible for any variations in machined timber sizes, pattern or grading.) Price is per length in the drop-down menu box.(poa - quantity & pack prices.) (POA : 9x3 cut lengths or extra machining on this timber.) |
