| STAIRS : CLOSED TREAD SOFTWOOD : Made to size Commercial Staircases We make Commercial Specification Staircases in our own workshop, and can manufacture to your measurements, with newel-posts, bull-nose steps and kite-winders, if required. Stairs can be made in a choice of timbers including Sapele Hardwood, Ash and Oak. Commercial Specification to Building Regulations: Max. 180mm rise with 38degree pitch. Maximum width up to 915mm for the prices shown; poa for wider staircases. ex 11x1.5 PSE Scandinavian Whitewood Strings; ex 11x1.5 PSE Whitewood Treads, 15mm Nosing and grooved for Risers; ex 9x1 PSE Whitewood Risers. Stair Strings are trenched, sanded, glued for Treads and Risers, then assembled, clamped, wedged and blocked, for minimum movement in the finished Staircase. All stair treads, risers, wedges and blocks are glued with an water-resistant grade PVA Adhesive.
