For Bolt-through fitting, a machine-screw fits through the door to screw into the D-handle.
For Back-to-back fitting one handle is bolted to the door with machine-screws that have a washer with centralising grooves under the head; The second handle is then fixed with allen screws that are drawn into this groove, tightening the second handle to the door. It is a very secure fixing method.
These Pull Handles can be used externally, but will need cleaning occasionally to prevent build-up of surface rust
