KTX-Head Woodscrews are suitable for all timbers, softwood and hardwood, and most timber-based sheet materials including chipboard and MDF; KTX screws do not require any pre-drilling or pilot holes.

The KTX Woodscrew has distinct advantages over the other brands in the marketplace.
The features of the screw are as follows :

	KTX screws are usable with Square, Pozi, Philips and the unique KTX drive bit.
	It provides a stick fit in the head of the screw for Square, KTX and good quality Pozi bits
	The stick fit means more torque is tranferred into the screw, there is no slippage or wobbling and the screws have to be handled less when starting them off.
	The screw is suitable for all woods including chipboard, MDF and hardwoods and does not require any pre drilling or pilot hole.
	There is significantly reduced splitting allowing close to edge fitting and the double countersunk head leaves a smooth surface finish.
	There are underhead ribs and tips to allow perfect fitting and the head recess is deep so improving the fit of the screw bit.
	The screw is through hardened for strength and is wax coated allowing smooth penetration into the wood.
	The screw is superb with pneumatic fixing machines in mass production work.
