XL Joinery SIKKENS PAINT PRE-FINISHING

There is a choice of wood stain or gloss paint in a number of different finish options. SIKKENS woodstain or SIKKENS paint is used on all XL Joinery external pre-finished doors and AC lacquer is used on all XL Joinery internal doors, ensuring a quality and durable finish is achieved on every door pre-finished. The spray finish technology XL Joinery use really does provide a superb finish to any door.

Timber is a natural material - variations in colour, texture and grain should be expected;
Staining will greatly even any colour variation - Paint will give a RAL colour finish.


SIKKENS staiin or paint finishes available from XL Joinery are manufactured by Akzo-Nobel.

Timber doors need care from purchase, during fitting, and throughout their lifespan;
Guidelines for door fitting, and door care are laid out by the British Woodworking Federation: BWF DOOR CARE    
XL Doors have a copy of the manufacturers instructions included in the packaging.
Check in particular, any fitting tolerances, or wood-stains you wish to use, are within the manufacturer's recommendations;
(Varnishes or water-based woodstains are NOT suitable.)
