- Compliant to Part 'L' of the Building Regulations, to meet the new build thermal 'U' value (2.0W/m2k).
- Supplied sanded ready to coat with your choice of external door finish.
- Solid composite engineered construction for maximum stability, with all exposed surfaces, generously faced with real oak.
- 44mm / 1-3/4" door thickness.
To achieve full thermal insulation properties, the glazed panels have an external face as marked upon each doors. Please Specify Left or Right when the Glass Panel is offset - as viewed from outside.

Oak is a by-word for strength and durability, but this should not be confused with the fact that it is most vulnerable, and can easily be degraded if constantly exposed to rain or hot sun. A south/south-westerly elevation facing the prevailing weather is the worst scenario. To preserve the beautiful appearance, and to guarantee long trouble-free service, it is essential to provide adequate shelter from the worst elements of the weather. Position the door back from the front face of the building, or fit a canopy/open porchway projecting not less than 1.5metres.
- Oak is a natural material - variations in knots, colour and grain should be expected.
Therm-L Oak Doors need care from purchase, during fitting, and throughout their lifespan;

JB Kind Timber doors have a copy of the manufacturer's instructions included in the packaging.
Check in particular, any fitting tolerances, or wood-stains you wish to use, are within the manufacturer's recommendations;
