Code 4 Lead flashing - lead sheet is suitable for most building applications, including pitched roofing, vertical cladding, flashings, soakers, bay-tops, canopies, gutters and other lead detail work; Flat roofs, parapets, box and tapered valley gutters may need a heavier section of lead sheet. One of the most common usages of lead sheet is as a weatherproofing material - due to leads high resistance to corrosion. Lead sheet is also excellent for sound reduction, as it is both dense and malleable, and so does not transmit sound easily, which means lead will stop much noise because of its weight and it will dampen the noise due to its soft characteristics.
Code 4 Lead has been BBA certified to ensure product performance - Thickness is 1.8mm - Weight 28kg per square metre approximately.
